    Temporary K-12 Guidance Counselor & Assessment Coordinator

    This 1 FTE position commences immediately. Responsibilities:  the counselor will contribute to decision making and collaborations with administrators, staff, parents, and community in a constructive manner.  Duties to include:  K-12 counseling, assessment coordinator, guidance, and college and career prep.  Qualifications:  Valid WA Educational Staff Associate School Counselor Certificate, WA State teaching certificate preferred; strong interpersonal skills; work well and connect with K-12 students.  Salary is dependent on experience and education.

    This position commences immediately and is for the remainder of the current school year only; however dependent on funding this position may be available for the 2017-18 school year.  6.5 hours: 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.  Salary dependent on years in district.  Classroom aide experience preferred.  Must have strong STEM and LA academic ability. Candidate must meet federal certification standards.  Duties for this position include:

    • Working closely with students and their teachers in grades 5-12 in the following academic areas:
      • Science
      • Engineering
      • Technology
      • Math
      • Language Arts
      • Social Studies
